Back again...

Oh yeah....the recurring theme...

Basically, 'positive thinking' is the most recurring theme that I have noticed as the backbone to all self-help books. Positive thinking and 'taking action' opposed to 'reacting to circumstances'. Don't wait until life happens to you. Take control and make decisions based on your past experiences. Good luck does not just 'happen'. You must always be looking for opportunities. Sometimes, they come from adversity. Say you lost your job...all too common these days. Instead of fretting about where the next paycheck is coming from, or looking for a 'bail-out'...eg...welfare or unemployment checks...

Take inventory of yourself. Your likes...dislikes...strengths...perceived weaknesses...and think about other means of applying these traits. What do you REALLY love to do? Do you like to take photographs? Perhaps you can sell them to one of those online stock photo sites. Do you enjoy working with computers? Take a couple courses in computer repair, or volunteer at an Assisted Living community helping the elderly set up their digital tv's and you may just get some contacts to make some money offering other services. If you like to write......WRITE!!!...Create e-newsletters and blogs. The more you write, the better you get!

The point is...do not despair if life has you down. Just jump back up, kicking and going forward!

...more to come...
